Recharge – Stay in your own power

Updated: Aug 16

Recharge is a workshop that focuses on precisely this: the connection between inner energy and collaborative work. In just 1.5 days, a space is created where recharging doesn't contradict performance—but rather forms its foundation. A format that I developed for companies and have already successfully implemented in a variety of contexts.

What it's about

Before we get into the topic, it's worth changing perspective. For some, regeneration sounds like a luxury—or even a weakness. In reality, the opposite is true: Performance isn't achieved through constant functioning, but rather through consciously scheduled recovery phases. Top athletes know exactly when to deliver peak performance, how to structure their recovery periods—and why these breaks are an essential part of their success. Those who recognize that recharging isn't giving up, but rather a deliberate act of strengthening themselves, can develop new strategies for their everyday lives.

Arrive, perceive, breathe

An introduction that creates space—for yourself, for clarity, for a moment without expectations. Mindfulness plays a central role here: When we truly notice how we're feeling—without immediately judging—an inner space emerges. Questions help: What feels good? What do we need less of today? What can be left undone? How do I switch off?

Body perception and self-regulation

Through mindful movement—such as a gentle yoga sequence—you connect with your own body and your inner signals. This conscious awareness supports the nervous system in returning to its natural rhythm—a foundation for true regeneration.

"When we notice that we're internally agitated, overstimulated, or exhausted, it's like a red warning light. Through conscious movement, breathing, or short breaks, our system can calm down again—like an engine that returns to its natural rhythm when idling."

A guided meditation deepens this experience and makes it tangible how regeneration can feel – as an inner image and as orientation ( link to InsightTimer)

Mañana competence – consciously switching off

The focus is on the ability to embrace the moment – and to radically switch off every day. Mañana competence – a term coined by Maja Storch (developer of the Zurich Resource Model) – describes this small but effective step. We explore seven so-called Mañana zones: everyday spaces where regeneration succeeds – through exercise, creativity, nature, or retreat.

Understanding and shaping habits

Finally, we'll look at the routines that shape our everyday lives. Some give us strength, others drain our energy. Using methods like Street Wisdom (David Pearl) or the WOOP model (Gabriele Oettingen), we'll explore what small changes are possible – quietly, harmoniously, at our own pace.

"Recharge" doesn't mean completely quitting. It means being conscious of your energy levels throughout your day and taking small steps in time before your battery runs dry. This way, your internal batteries stay charged, instead of suddenly going into emergency shutdown like an ignored iPhone.

Taking good care of yourself isn't a luxury, but a necessity. It requires attention, practice—and sometimes a clear starting point. This workshop offers just such a beginning: easily integrated into the corporate context and open to what each participant personally wants to develop and what is important for their individual future.
